We specialize in quality low maintenance natural landscaping and personalized service.

Where do you get your sod?
All my sod is hand-cut fresh for your order from private wood lots all along the downeast area. 
Fred's Wild Sod is not grown on a farm or in a nursery.
 
Do you harvest the sod with machines?
Never! All of our products are hand-cut piece by piece, this ensures a quality product that does not need any preparation before planting.
 
When is Wild Sod Available?
Wild Sod is usually available from early Spring to late Fall with some weather exceptions for example Drought, Flood or other adverse weather conditions.
Our weather is posted on the Site Map.
 
How long will it take to get my order? 
In most cases one to three days after the order is placed.  Some orders the same day.
 
Do you charge to deliver your wild sod?  Delivery is free with an order of 200 ft. or more and within a 50 mile radius of Ellsworth, Maine.
Delivery costs to all other locations depend on sod type, amount of sod and destination. 
We will provide you with an estimate.
 
How far will you deliver?
We proudly deliver through out the New England area.
